He has been a part of several think tanks, counsels and commissions and is currently amongst others deputy chairman of DBU’s (Danish Soccer Association) women’s soccer commission. Furthermore, he is a former adjunct professor at Copenhagen Business School in creative leadership.

He is primarily known for his successful work with the sports brand hummel, which he took ownership of in 1999. hummel has since become a brand renowned for applying its roots in the world of sports to projects in some of the world’s hotspots such as Afghanistan and Sierra Leone with a promise and a why to Change the World through Sport.

Furthermore, he is the creator of the business philosophy ‘Company Karma’: his innovation of the traditional ways into CSR, branding and Human Resource Management, where Christian Stadil is applying a hard karma concept as an instrumental part of his company culture: that everything has consequences and will eventually come back to you. Company Karma is also based on a quadruple win based on the notion ‘of doing good while doing business’.

Christian Stadil has several books behind him. Most recently, ’In the Shower with Picasso’ written together with a professor in creativity, Lene Tanggaard. Together they investigate how creative minds are working with their creativity, and how they can translate this into the corporate sphere.

With veneration for the nerdy and quirky, he is passionate about and driven by the intersections between art, culture, design and the corporate world.

A continuous emphasis on interdependence characterises his work; hence he is known to break down silos and to insist on finding the possibilities on the edge of the box.

In his private life, Christian Stadil is married to Alice Rosenkrantz Stadil, father of four, experienced mountain climber, member of the Adventures Club, martial artist and Ving Tsun technician, literature nerd, art collector and champagne enthusiast with his own champagne brand, Stadil et Stadil, LE NON MOI.
