Scott Carney har skrevet to super bøger; What Doesn’t Kill Us, som var den første bog der sådan rigtigt introducerede Wim Hof og hans metoder til en bredere offentlighed og så The Enlightenment Trap...
Tomorrow, it’s the 60 years anniversary of Jack Kerouacs mystery and autobiographical publication, “On the Road” or with a more fancy expression his novel à clef, novella. And it’s still going strong. Though I always get bored with Neal Cassady/Dean Moriarty after a while, the book still gives me the urge to let go, experience and to see the world through fresh eyes.
Furthermore, the genesis contributes to making it a very special and unique book. A masterpiece in the Beat Generation (together with Howl and "Naked Lunch") written over three weeks in April 1951. However, first published six years later. I have the pleasure to comment on the book tomorrow morning at 9 am in Go’morgen Danmark. Though, unfortunately not on site, but Dogme-ish selfie-recording with my iphone. Maybe that is a great match for the unpolished Beat spirit.
